Moving in Together & Eclipse Photos

Moving in together

If you’re considering moving in with your significant other – no matter how long you’ve been together – you’re going to want to read this. It’s one of the biggest decisions you can make, both as a couple and as individuals. It can be awesome, but it can also be a struggle, and you need to be aware and prepared either way.

Take it one step at a time

When you move in with someone, you have to have a plan. It kind of sucks, but you have to ask the important questions – most importantly: what if we break up?

If you do, neither one of you will be equipped to deal with who will live where or pay for what, which will only make a terrible situation even more difficult. So while it’s not fun to make a just-in-case kind of plan, it’s very necessary to prevent additional difficulties in the future.

You’ll also need a plan for who will end up paying for what while you live together. Do you both have jobs? How much can you contribute? How much can your partner contribute? Make a budget together so you can set those expectations up front and not fight about finances later.

7 Dos and Don’ts of moving in together

Photobomb of the century

I hope you all got to see the total solar eclipse today – whether you got to see the whole thing, a partial eclipse, or you watched it on live stream, it’s pretty amazing.

NASA had some fun

NASA is all over Twitter with several different accounts pertaining to their main organization, the International Space Station, and the Earth, the Sun, and the Moon… Just to name a few.

Today, just prior the eclipse itself, the @NASAMoon and @NASASun accounts had a clever little exchange, which you can view here.

Can’t eclipse that

You might not have noticed while viewing it yourself, but the International Space Station totally photobombed the eclipse… Kinda hard to steal the show from the moon itself though!
