Butler is an excellent teacher! Shakespeare is not the most glamorous subjects of English, but he makes class engaging and the readings understandable. I hated Shakespeare before starting this class. Now however, it doesn't feel nearly as insufferable and I can actually read it with significant easethe ability to stay awake. A great class overall! ...Continue reading

Took the class my sophomore year, and was intimidated by the lectures at first, but received very good grades on the exams because he was a pretty easy grader. The lectures are kind of boring, but you should really go to them because he is big on participation. Do not expect to get help from him if you skip class a lot. ...Continue reading

The class reminds me of one long therapy session, but it is useful. Her lectures are always pretty interesting and she brings a nice flare to the class. She is really there for the student and doesn't think of herself as better just because she's a prof. I would recommend taking this class. ...Continue reading

Very friendly and caring person, and an enthusiastic teacher. my other classes i tend to skip a lot but i only missed this class once and it was because i was deathly sick. great professor, makes you want to learn. Make eye contact when you talk, Use active listening. . really&#63 Everyone knows that, at least I hope. Easy class. What you get out of it is what you put into it. ...Continue reading

Kim is a WONDERFUL teacher! I think the first section of her course should cover all the ways she thinks she is great. Yeah, her class is cool, but really now! Nothing original! I've had similar experiences without kissing someones ass and telling her what she wants to hear. She offended me with her better than the rest attitude! GET OVER YOURSELF! She cares about her students well-being and actually tries getting to know them. Its a wonderful experience and everyone should go through this class. This class is really interesting and Anna does a great job at teaching the material. If your f/t be wary of taking this class with a gened class because both require a great deal of time. The work isn't really hard, just time consuming. The book four agreements was terrible and repetitive, but i got through it.the TA courtney was :) In the beginning of the semester you get assigned to a group where you will do some group work, but it's honestly not that bad. There are some papers and reflections (called Stretch Apps) but not too much homework. The final was a 5-7 page paper. ...Continue reading

Anna is awesome!!! I have 110% I live this class! The required meetings get REALLY annoying and like someone else mentioned, they feel like an AA meeting. Grading is ridiculous! It is extremely harsh but with no explanation. Follow every guideline and you still won't have an A. She and the teaching team care about each student's success in the class and out of it. At times the work load is hard but it is easy to get an A as long as you do the work. ...Continue reading

The course itself is easy. And if you show the effort you will get an A. I wasn't interested at all in the course, however her and her TA made it bearable and fun at times. Your grade will be determined on how much you interact in class and how much she likes you. The quizzes are really easy and they are all from the notes. Take good notes, write some BS for the papers (they're all reflective), and read the book and you'll easily get an A. Discussions are pretty easy. It's a fun class with a really easy teacher. There are many easy assignments to go through. Emotional intelligence in this class can get pretty annoying too. ...Continue reading

I'm going to level with you: Do not take her. I attended class regularly and worked hard in class. But when it came time for classgroup evaluations, I was very honest how I thought it was a joke of a class. I put so much effort in my final and she said I gave C effort on it. NO HD205!!! Far too much focus on busy work, talking about ones feelings, and exploring the campus and surrounding town. At no point did Anna ever make me care about any of the course material. ...Continue reading

Few times have I ever felt a class in college was completely pointless but Anna made this class feel completely pointless. Do not take this course if you can, but unfortunately it is required for many. So just don't take her Tons of busy-work. No comments on grading, which often takes weeks. If you don't have good group members, you are OOL. If you don't talk everyday and make yourself liked, you're out of luck Many assignments due at once, it seems like a lot of busy work. You will have to write about feelings and talk about feelings. ...Continue reading

She knows that her class is a joke, and therefore she takes it out on her students in her grading.
