His tests are all from his lectures, and there are only 2 and 1 final, he gives you a review a week before. take him you won't regret it. Tests based on his lectures. You won't get away with good grade on the test without going to class. He doesn't go by the book. Learnsmart is a must. Highest grade you could get without it is a 75. He will tell you if there is something from the ebook that will be on the test. Tells you what you need to know for the test on review. His lectures are long because it is a 3 hour class, but he makes it enjoyable! You take 3 tests, all multiple choice and you have to do 10 LearnSmarts. Plus you get extra credit opportunities. Make sure to bring snacks because you'll get hungry. I'm taking his 1337 next semester. Btw make sure you go to his lectures! ...Continue reading

I took this class because it was a requirement for my degree. He is consistent! Tests come straight from lectures so don't miss class. His class really isn't hard but don't expect him to give you credit where it's not deserved (no curve, no bumping, etc.) He will give you the grade you deserve. He is very clear, and most of his test questions come from his lecture, so if you show up to class and take good notes, and participate, you should do well in his class. Participating and taking GOOD notes is important attendance is optional, but if you don't show up, don't plan on passing. ...Continue reading

I showed up 90% of the time, took decent notes, and did the review for the tests the day before and thought it was easier than most of my high school classes. Amazing professor. He's very passionate about the subject and very clearly talks about what he wants you to know for he class. He ties his lectures to real life politics as much as he can so you can later apply what you learn in class to the real world. It's not too easy of an A, but you do have to put some effort to get it. Then, do the review sheet he gives a week before each of the 3 tests. These reviews basically outline the vast majority of the content on the test. Also, if you happen to slip a bit in your grades there is a tone of extra credit that can boast your overall grade by almost 5%. Take him. ...Continue reading

Easy easy professor! he makes the 3 hours enjoyable Catch is its on a Saturday and you must show up because the tests are his lectures Only used the book for learnsmarts, never read it Learn smarts, 2 tests and a cumulative final, and offers extra credit He gives a test review that's just like the test I enjoyed listening to his lectures and the only thing that would make it better is if I didn't have to take notes. It would be enjoyable to just listen to the lectures. I took him on a satruday at 9am even though it was tough being in there for 3hrs he still tried to make it interesting.
