Probably one of my favorite classes at USF. Dr. Cass kept it interesting every single class, and this course was seriously an Easy A. She does assign reading before every class, but other than that, there wasn't much to the class. The class revolved around guest speakers. I highly recommend this class!! ...Continue reading

Dr. Cass does a great job at keeping it interesting. Dr. Cass was one of the best professors I have taken at USF. She absolutely does care about her students, and about people, period. Take her course(s) if you can. You have quizzes twice a week. If you have a question she will get back with you quick. Make sure you read the book, take notes from the guest speakers and please study the quizzes because the information is on the exams. ...Continue reading

Dr. Cass class was very interested loved all of the guest speakers. 40% got an A and another 30% for B+. She offers a lot of extra credit and freebie credits, including attendance, research participation, easy quiz. The 100 points out of 400 were like freebies + 20 extra credits. Easy and interesting class ...Continue reading

This was one of the best classes I've ever taken. She offers great study strategies and there should be no surprises. There is a 22 page syllabus for this course...you should be able to find 99% of your answers here. If you have issues...it's more than likely YOU. ...Continue reading

I don't know what some of these people are talking about! Lecture hall course with a new guest speaker every day of class (FBI agents, secret service, judges, public defenders, prosecutors, etc). I learned a lot in this class. Attendance is mandatory. As long as you pay attention to the lectures and read, you'll do fine! I'm taking her for research methods also. Every class is a different guest speaker who comes and talk about the part of the criminal justice system they work in. Cass is helpful in the class and she knows good classes to take if your a CJ major. There's also plenty of extra credit that really boosts a grade. Tests are an easy B+. ...Continue reading

The class is very large, Dr. Cass is very straightforward about her policies. ...Continue reading
