I felt Bandy was a great teacher. Each test has a review! (Most math teachers do not do this...) The tests are not too hard, as long as you know you're stuff. Make sure to show up to class and labs- he gives you extra credit (POINTS ONTO YOUR AVERAGE AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER!) No quizzes. He is old, but a great teacher. Don't need textbook!!! ...Continue reading

I personally took highschool calculus, so this was really just a review, and was able to walk away with an A. Its definitely not difficult to get an A if you are decent in math, and you do all the work. Attendance was taken everyday, but didn't have consequences if missed. 3 tests, and the final replaced the lowest one. And lots of extra credit! ...Continue reading

Dr. Shroff is a brilliant professor. He is proud of helping students understand the material. The tests and quizzes are straight from problems that he works in class. If you do the homework, you will be ready for the quiz. Extra problems are posted on TRACS. You get thirty points for perfect attendance. His classroom is a really open learning environment and it is clear that he genuinely cares about his student's grasping the subject. He is a fair grader and offers some extra credit as well as drops a few quiz grades. If you are willing to work for an A, it is definitely do-able. ...Continue reading

Shroff made taking Calculus as pleasant as possible. He counts top 1220 scores AND give 10 pts extra credit. easy 100 even if you f up a lot. Calculus is time consuming, but if you put in the time and do homework and pay attention in class, you can make an A. No trick questions, he is very clear about what he expects you to know. Favorite teacher this semester. ...Continue reading

This class is tough. But if you show up and do the homework, then you won't have trouble passing. There is a lot of homework to prepare you for the exams. With the abundance of resources for math students, the only person to blame for your failure is you. Gutt-Lehr is a great professor. ...Continue reading
