Aaron is the best professor I've had so far at LSU. His lectures keep my attention the whole time, and he even brings hands-on activities for his students to do during class. (When learning about phases of the moon, he brought all 250 of us ping pong balls to be the moon and a bright light to be the sun. Amazing presentation.) Incredible professor. Take him. ...Continue reading

Professor Grocholski is so enthralling. He makes class SUPER interesting and adds current events in Astronmy to the course. The textbook Is optional and there are no readings or HW assignments for the class. You have to go to class because he grades participation by submitting notecards in class. Tests aren't that bad either. TAKE HIM. ...Continue reading

Aaron is extremely candid and knowledgeable about the material. His tests are more scientific method applicable rather than spewing out random facts that you have learned. He motivates his students to think. He however despises any electronic contraption that you can think of and deducts points if you use them in his class during lecture. ...Continue reading

This class is not a easy science class at ALL. He expects you to get in super depth even though it is just a gen ed course and it is only a 1000 level course. AVOID this class by all means. ...Continue reading

I do not reccomend if you are just trying to find a science to take. Although his lectures are interesting and he makes it bearable, participation is a HUGE part of your grade and he's very rude (will call you out in class for phones). Not an easy class! ...Continue reading

Extremely nice and super helpful. In-class activities and homework are a huge help. She tells you exactly what to study for the tests so if you follow it, you'll be fine. She's right on the dot with attendance though and won't waive the rules for anyone - READ THE SYLLABUS. Class participation is a must but she makes it not feel so awkward. ...Continue reading

You gotta study for vocal quizzes but all of the tests are easy if you're paying attention in class. As long as you grasped the concepts in class you'll be fine. The homework is given before you go over the concepts in class so it is difficult but isn't counted for correctness per say. ...Continue reading
