    I found this class interesting because of the material presented and Dr. Greening tries his best to make it interesting by having in-class demos and videos everyday.     He is the coolest teacher I have had a LSU so far. Speeches are easy and he grades them easy but his midterm and final are the hardest tests I have taken at LSU. With that being said he does give bonus and will help you out as long as you go to class frequently (at least twice a week) ...Continue reading

    I was in high school band, so this class was very interesting. It does help to have musical background. There are forums on moodle every week that are easy hw points. However, the majority of the questions on the quizzes are random details that don't matter.     I would say based on my friends teachers, i am glad I took Weimer. You don't have to really take notes because he gives you the power point slides and attendance is not mandatory but trying to learn 6 chapters at a time without hearing any lecture would be a pain so just go to class and ask questions to get more involved. i could have done better! ...Continue reading

    He's an awesome teacher, I recommend him! He's super nice and laid-back. He tries his best to make everyone pass. Take him! I love his class so much. He is very engaging and there is never a dull moment.     Dr. Elliot truly cares about her field and her students. Be sure to keep up with readings because that's where she gets test questions from. cumulative final. Very enthusiastic.     At first the tests were not anything like the objectives and they were hard but she changed it, so for the future, her study guides really help, just read it. Make sure to always keep up with the readings because the answers to her quizzes on mypsychlab are straight from the book! Fair grader! She actually makes her class fun and interesting.     Participation is absolutely 100% necessary because of clicker quizzes which are called participation points but if you don't get it right you don't get points. TESTS. ARE. HARD.     Dr. Calamia is and amazing professor, his dynamic in the class room is unmatched, I dont think ive laughed harder in any other college class. He is very good at getting the class involved and keeping everyone's attention. He moves at a good pace and is very good at explaining things on a more understandable level. I do recommend going to class, and doing all the assignments. 3 tests and exam make up 65% of grade, so study hard. . from the start! Very clear and straight to the point. He has a lot of points spread over different things so its easy to make an A if you do well on the tests. He offers a total of 3% of extra credit and I got mine done by going to one extra Research Learning requirement. - RLR suck but are easy just inconvenient. Papers aren't bad.     Great professor! I've recommended him to anyone who has to take Psych. Most of the grades come from online quizzes that come straight from the book. He gives lots of real life examples for the topics discussed. Try not to skip class because he does random clicker questions which count for 10% of your grade. ...Continue reading

    This professor is one that solely relies on his assistant to do most of his work for him. Although he keeps class interesting by showing video examples over certain topic this will give you a good laugh but will NOT help you pass. His PPs are LONG (40+) and are pointless being that no test information is presented or learned during class time. This is only an intro psych class, but he makes it so harder than what it is with all of this work. You really have to study hard and read for the tests because they are a bleep. If you make a 69 for your final grade, he won't add the extra point. He's so big on cheating in his class. He just does too much. ...Continue reading

    Class is way too much work. Every MWF she requires students to read and submit a typed document about the readings. The tests aren't bad, but the readings are just way too much work.     I would suggest taking a different professor if you could. His lectures are agonizing but they're mandatory. If you miss a certain number of class periods you can't pass the class.     This class wasn't easy but by no means difficult. She has multiple assignments which you will either hate (assignments due every week) or love (helps bring up your grade). She gives clicker questions throughout class, so attendance is recommended. An A in here is common and to top it all off: she is pretty good-looking. If you attend class to get clicker points and listen to the lectures you will be fine. A lot of it is online quizzes which you have a long time to complete.     Her lectures are very long & boring. She's really nice but her accent makes it difficult at times to understand her & there are SO many assignments, you will find yourself SERIOUSLY hating the class by the end of the semester.     Pros: Drops lowest grade out of the three exams taken, but the final is still worth 40 percent. Puts all notes online and doesn't take attendance. Cons: The tests are definitely not easy at ALL.     The class was pretty hard. But he gave us 5 percentage points for doing this super easy thing. So I had an 80 and my final grade was an 85. His tests are best 3 out of 4.     Mr. White is more concerned about the students learning the material than just handing out assignments. Really knows a lot about what he teaches. He does take attendance, but he's worth it.     I would highly recommend her, I've always been decent in English so I can't say how hard she grades the papers. The rough draft is graded based on if you tried and if you do the whole paper so she can check the whole thing, you're bound to get an A on the final draft. She emails back quickly.     The class was pretty hard. But he gave us 5 percentage points for doing this super easy thing. So I had an 80 and my final grade was an 85. His tests are best 3 out of 4.     Mr. White is more concerned about the students learning the material than just handing out assignments. Really knows a lot about what he teaches. He does take attendance, but he's worth it. Young teacher so he understands if you have issues and can relate easily. HIGHLY reccomend, really good teacher. ...Continue reading

    I would highly recommend her, I've always been decent in English so I can't say how hard she grades the papers. The rough draft is graded based on if you tried and if you do the whole paper so she can check the whole thing, you're bound to get an A on the final draft. She emails back quickly.
