    I really liked prof Williams. When I was confused she explained it real nicely. Make sure after each lecture you make flash cards regarding what was taught. I prolly end up with an A. Book is helpful in clarifying everything. She drops lowest test score, and final is mandatory and a simple 3-4 page paper is due. Take notes at lectures and read the book (there's info there that's not mentioned in lecture that will be on exams). Recommended for morning people (class time is usually at 8:00 AM). ...Continue reading

    DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU WANT AN EASY A WITH LITTLE EFFORT. Her tests are definitely hard, and require a lot of studying and memorization.     I took the hybrid version of art history. prepare to study like crazy. a lot of slides you have to remember. this is not an easy A class. 4 exams, 1 paper. she drops the lowest exam. you think it'll be easy but her exams are pretty detailed. you have to read and go to lectures. ...Continue reading

    Don't buy the textbook. Kept me awake even at 8 in the morning. Pretty easy class. Attendance not at all mandatory. 3 exams (lowest grade dropped), 1 final, and 1 gallery report essay.     very helpful professor, shes great one on one and always seemed to let people know she was willing to coming in on days that weren't on her normal office hour schedule. First exam is tough.     Class was alright, i mean of course it was boring, its art history. Need to attend class to get good grades. Dr. Williams is an excellent teacher and really knows her art!     very very very nice and helpful. Tests are strait forward and easy to pass, but not easy to ace. A lot of fact recall on tests. Weekly online tests make up a majority of your grade, and those are easy to get 100% because you can take them twice and she gives study guides. Overall simple class. ...Continue reading

She was really helpful when i went into her office hours so she could look at my term paper, before turning it in.     Art was a boring subject to me, until I took this class to fulfill the GE req. Drops one test. If you go to class and pay attention, and study the slide list you'll be golden.     she is really boring but the class is really easy! if you go to lecture and take good notes you will get an A (without ever opening the book). I fell asleep a majority of the time. One museum paper if you want a better grade she lets you redue it. Recommend the class just memorize the slide list! I took it expecting little work because of the other rates I read on this website, but NO. You can definitely easily pass the SEVERAL online quizzes, and effortlessly do the two papers she assigns- BUT THE TESTS ARE MEMORIZATION.     Tends to go off-topic at times, but other than that, she knows quite a lot on art history. It was my first time with an online class. Take good notes and you'll be fine with the tests. There were a lot of assignments from short quizes online to a museum visit with a paper.     Really good professor, her lectures are not boring, but interesting, you will learn a lot, just pay attention and take good notes. She let me turn in the museum paper the day before the final because of some things I was going through.     you'll learn interesting stuff about the paintings but i had the class at 8 a.m. and it was like pulling teeth She gives these online quizzes but you have two tries and the questions are identical so if you fail the first one just write the correct answers down and you'll ace the second one. Material was interesting, i didn't open the book once and got an A. This class is almost too easy. Study those 2 things and your almost guaranteed a A-,B+.     she's a good teacher although the lectures are REALLY boring. williams is nice enough, but can get a little over dramatic when she catches someone talking while she's lecturing. the good thing about this class is that you know all the work you're going to have to do beforehand. there are no surprises.     class is easy... just know your slides and the history of them. She is very enthusiastic about art history and it shows. Her tests aren't too difficult as long as you study.     She's ALL over the place in her teaching style but if you just study and memorize the pieces and required info a couple of days before the test it's easy enough. Start studying for tests early. Don't talk in class, she'll pinpoint you even if you weren't the one talking! Go see her if you are struggling she'll help you out. Read the book material it WILL be on tests. ...Continue reading

    She has online tests which are mildly annoying because she doesn't list the dates in the syllabus, but you get 2 chances to take them, so it's easy to get an A on them. Although, I feel like she interprets paintings in her own way and that is how she expects us to think. The class is really easy, no need for the book, just go to class and study your notes and thats all you need. 3 tests and a paper, if you go to class it will be a lot easier to do well, however she doesn't require attendance. The class was interesting, but you needed to study a lot for the tests, cause it is straight memorization of titles/artists/ect. Flashcards are the way to go with this class. ...Continue reading

    Pretty chill class, only 3 tests and a 3 page paper final. She says you need to read the book but really she says all you need to know in lecture. Hard to pay attention unless you REALLY like analyzing works of art. the final only has 5 more questions than the midterms.
