If you're taking Bowman's anatomy, be prepared to build up your reading skills. His questioning on tests can be confusing, but do not be afraid to ask for clarification. He is willing to offer help sessions before his test, again, all you have to do is ask! ...Continue reading

Barely went to class, read the book or look up stuff on Kahn Academy to understand the topics instead of taking notes from his lectures. You have 3 exams and 2 quizzes per exam. The quizzes are short answer, extremely specific, and nearly impossible to pass, and your quiz average is 25% of your final grade. Move around your schedule in order to avoid his class . ...Continue reading

Dr. Bowman is smart and you can tell he knows what he is talking about however, his tests are nearly impossible. Lectures are long and make simple topics really hard to understand. Go to class when there is a test or quiz and make sure you study the chapters and you'll be fine. Most topics overlap with bio 102. ...Continue reading

he's literally incredible. Only teacher on campus who try to get you to pass the class. Sets up an entire website so you can study the exact pictures that he uses for his exams. ...Continue reading

Yes, Soma has a distinct indian accent, and yes she's hard to understand sometimes. However, she cares about her students, and makes class as easy as possible for her students. She makes power points that she lectures off of during class and makes her tests based off of those power points. If you aren't illiterate you should be able to pass. ...Continue reading

Very unorganized, took over a week to reply to all of my emails throughout the semester. She was late to class at least once a week. She always changed dates on syllabus, and cancelled quizzes. She only takes a handful of grades, hard to pull your grade up if you don't do well on one. Speaks very broken English. I do not suggest her. ...Continue reading

I would not take her class if I could redo. The past students must have been med students, because this was the hardest class I think I have ever taken. She gives extra credit I guess to make up for her lack of teaching. But on the positive side she never kept us the whole class, which was 3 hours long. Be prepared to teach yourself everything. ...Continue reading
