His whole objective is to trick as many students as possible and it sucks. He doesn't use a mic on purpose just to make it harder for students. He reads his rate my professor reviews but never listens to them. I got an A in his class but I would never take him a again because the information he focuses on is wasteful. Good luck! p.s his posture.... ...Continue reading

I don't know why most people rated him this way. Before taking the class, I came here and freaked out. After taking the class with him, I realized that he isn't bad. If you go to his lectures and pay attention, he's actually a fun guy and you could easily pass just by going to lectures. I'm actually taking him again for 112. ...Continue reading

His exams are pretty hard. However, his lectures are entertaining. You will understand more if you attended the lectures. I attended all of them so far and received a 76% on my midterm exam. He gives you 16 essay questions and 2 of them are actually on the exam, but you only have to write one of them. Gives a lot of extra credit opportunities! ...Continue reading

THE absolute BEST teacher I have had so far at UIC. You can register for any course that he teaches with confidence because you will learn a lot. His jokes are copious and corny, but they're so corny that they're utterly hilarious. Hes a caring professor who is passionate about his students and job. I recommend him for chem first timers! ...Continue reading

this was my worst subject in HS and i got an A in the class, very easy, fun to attend, good explanations. The tests only consist of 20 questions. They come from the practice test and online quiz for that chapter, in additon to some in the book. There is really no reason you should fail this class. HE gives out a decient amout of homework. He expects you to learn on your own too. If you read the chapter, do some practice problems, go to lectures, you will do Awesome in the class. ...Continue reading

Professor Babiker is honestly very helpful, yes she can be unclear sometimes but if you ask she's more than willing to explain everything throughly. She expects you to care about the class, and I think that's the least any professor can ask for, and if you show the effort you'll get the grade you want. Anyway she's awesome! can't wait for 102!! She gives extra credit and you have a lot of chances to get an A. I really like her methods of teaching, she is very professional and she has patience. Great professor! and Im taking her class next semester. ...Continue reading

The class isn't hard, everything from the tests comes exactly from the slides. There are however a lot (and I do mean a lot) of slides. I used the book for the first few weeks of class, but then realized that as long as you study the slides there is no need to read as well. He is quite a character. I always got a kick out of him. ...Continue reading
