My advice to anyone considering taking this class, don't take it with her. She is incredibly unprofessional, consistently late to her own class, posts assignments late and with incorrect dates, is very unclear about what is going to be on the exams and rags on students in class for getting bad grades. Definitely plays favorites. No positives here. ...Continue reading

I have been a pbio major now for 2.5 years and Harvey has helped me the entire way. He isnt my adivsor but he is always trying to help students with whatever they need. He also helped me get an internship this summer for the government. Great genuine professor. Down to earth and always willing to talk. You wont regret taking his classes. ...Continue reading

I kinda enjoyed the class. Wasn't the best, but we discussed Fight Club, watched bits of movies in class, and had SOME interesting discussions. It was a lot of reading, and there were pop quizzes every so often. Very much a discussion class, which was okay because there were a lot of talkative, opinionated people, so I could go unnoticed. ...Continue reading

Absolute worst class I've ever taken. Bottom line please, please, PLEASE stay away. By far the most disappointing, boring, and uninformed professor I have ever had. I did fine in the course, but it was awful showing up every day. ...Continue reading

Professor Lemay is easily the best professor I've had thus far at Ohio University. He is profoundly intelligent and inspiring as a teacher and very pleasant and kind as a person. I took ENG 2010 with him fall of my freshman year and was absolutely obsessed with him. I will be taking his creative writing workshop in the future FOR SURE. ...Continue reading

I loved Dr. McLaughlin. He was one of my favorite teachers I had this semester. The class is more like a discussion than a lecture and he always keeps the conversation going. Very nice. Very helpful. The required texts were interesting, except for a few that were hard to digest at times. Attendance is relatively important. No textbook was used. ...Continue reading
