Professor Suzuki clearly knows his stuff. His course is based on many readings of case studies. He gives at least 5 quizzes, and you will see many of the same questions on the exams. His lectures can be somewhat boring so beware of that. ...Continue reading

She always made herself available after class and responded to emails well. She also mixed up the ways to teach us. She tried to appease to what the class wanted to learn, but also made sure to cover what needed to be covered. ...Continue reading

Waterbury is a nice professor who will help if you ask. She was not my favorite, her lectures tended to drag and she was a little odd. The one project she assigned required a lot of clarification by her. She assigns a lot of reading but as long as you pay attention in class you don't have to read a lot of them. ...Continue reading

Nice lady but not the best prof. Her lectures are very boring (lots of forced laughter). powerpoints on blackboard are very vague as she just rambles on about the subject in class and its hard to follow. Class isn't that hard, you can use cheat sheet on exams. Attendance isn't mandatory which is a plus. Nice prof, just a little odd and very boring ...Continue reading

He really loves what he teaches. I believe I already left high school... His notes he writes on the board are pointless to even write down. Attendance is mandatory but you can check it off the next time you come to class. His midterm was extremely easy. He gives study guides for the 2 exams and the quizzes. Class is kinda boring but an easy A or B ...Continue reading

Great teacher, if you listen to what he says in class you will get a good grade in the class. He discusses a lot of it in class. Haven't found the class to be as difficult as he made it out to be. Just take notes and go to class because there is a lot of information you need to understand. Kendhammer is very funny and easy going in class. Books are cheap. ...Continue reading

Kendhammer is one of the best professors I've had. He talks this class up to be very very hard, but it's not as bad as he made it seem. I never do the readings because they are incredibly lengthy, but I always go to class and take notes as he's talking and it catches me up. Definitely would take another class like this if I had Kendhammer again. ...Continue reading

Hands down, my favorite professor so far. Although the subject matter he teaches requires you to pay a lot more attention to class than most other classes you take, he teaches in a way that is fun, interesting, and easily retainable as long as you pay attention. I loved how passionate he was about the subject. I wish every prof was like him. prof. this semester. He explains the material better than any teacher i have ever had including hs. the class is easy as long as you take notes and read along. i think all these pols majors u think hes hard should take an accounting course. do what he says and u will get an a ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 5/5
Kendhammer is a great professor who really is passionate about his teachings and has a very good understanding of the material he teaches. Dr. Kendhammer makes the dull subject of global politics into something worth learning. No, you really should not miss a lecture because you'll miss a chunk of valuable information, but most people don't want to miss because he is so interesting. I would absolutely take another class he offers. Great guy. He expects alot out of his students but if you show up to class and do all of the readings, you will do great on the tests and papers. The only reason his classes are slightly difficult is that he assigns upwards of 50-100 pages of reading every night. Also if you skip class you will not pass the course. ...Continue reading

You have to write 1 paper and take two exams (including final) and those make up 70% of your grade. Banta is a fair grader and always I felt prepared for his exams w/ an adequate amount of studying even though I had no prior knowledge of war before the course. Lecture-style set up can make it difficult to pay attention all the time, but he is a great professor, a great guy and great to look at. His lecture slides are online but to pass you HAVE to go to class and take a few notes. You have to write one 5-7 page essay using articles. His quizzes are a bit tough but his exams are forgiving to those who go to class. Gives opportunities for extra credit. I enjoyed him and his class. Recommend ...Continue reading

Dr. Banta is a good professor who knows his stuff. He can go on tangents that while interesting can be a bit confusing at times. Very fair with workload and allowing for extra credit. Quizzes can be a bit confusing and feathery with word use. The paper is very easy although the exams are a little tougher. Quizzes make up 24% of your grade and are online, these are very difficult and time consuming. Easy B class. Don't count on extra credit attendance unless you always show to class. ...Continue reading

He's a nice guy that cares about his subject but sometimes when translating that to his entire class, it can get kind of jumbled. He's a brilliant guy and while he speaks too philosophically sometimes, the lecture slides are really clear (and online). Attendance isn't mandatory but it really helps to go. He's not bad to look at either. I'd definitely take a class of his again. ...Continue reading
