Read the textbook before class. will save your life. Beyond my favorite teacher. Wants you to understand. Practice makes perfect, only way you will get an A is do practice problems. Extremley fair, you cant cram the night before for his tests. Alot of material in lecture, but is possible to make it. Super sweet. Would take all over again. Avoud that Geek ...Continue reading

dont take Kasner, it is true that he ha great teaching skills but why would u need that when hes the worst greader there ever was. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 2/5
Kasner is a brilliant man, knows what he is talking about inside and out, however, we are all not chemistry experts. This professor made me question my choice as a Biology major. He's tough but overall a good professor. YOU WILL WORK FOR YOUR GRADE, AND WHAT YOU GET IS WHAT YOU WORKED FOR! Go to him for help & get ready for sleepless nights of chem ...Continue reading

explains topics throughly and does so many problems in class until you get it.exams are fair. don't ask him stupid questions, because he will get sarcastic on you. funny guy. chemistry isn't so bad with him. recommend! ...Continue reading

Took him last semester, the worst! Lectures he posts online and does problems in class. 5 problems max. I didn't show up to class cause he does not grade attendance. I feel like I learned more reading than watching his lectures. Would recommend only if you want a hybrid, other than that he's lame. Do all problems in back of book ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 1/5
Buy the textbook cause your teaching yourself. He is not sympathetic at all, you should already know chem before you go to his class. The first test is the easiest so study your butt off on that test to avoid being in danger of failing. If not for that first exam and last exam I would have failed. I ended up with a B- but I was very depressed taking this class ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 1/5
His lectures are long and posted via video online. You watch the video lectures, go to class and talk about the lectures and practice the homework problems. His goal to make the students better understand chemistry. Reality obscene amount of confusion, and his videos he rambles on with no real point or purpose. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 4/5
She kind of let my class walk all over her. We were awful, not going to lie. She gave us all the quiz questions (same questions for every quiz) on the syllabus and asked for questions before every quiz, effectively allowing us to ask all the questions for the quiz without having to do a thing. Though the ELLC retreat is kind of fun? ...Continue reading
