Merkley is an outstanding instructor. Don't listen to the other comment about Merkley playing favorites with comm. majors--NOT true! He favors the ones who work hard and think for themselves. He is not for the faint hearted. He's tough, but you'll learn so much and thank him later for opening your mind. ...Continue reading

Oh he is definitely different. Don't take his class if you are easily offended. He isn't really clear on assignments. He rants a lot and just goes on and on and on. Shuts other peoples opinions down. You have to really work for the grade you want. ...Continue reading

I liked him. Dr. Chung really knows what he is talking about, and his lectures are very interesting. His lecture tests go incredibly in depth, but not impossible if you study. He expects you to think for yourself and think through things in a different way. I learned how to be a better student from this class. Take it if you can! ...Continue reading

Human Anatomy was AMAZING! He was very clear in what he wanted you to know. If you have questions he is very approachable and is very willing to help you. He is very kind and knows his stuff, super smart! He does give out the toughest tests I have had to take yet, but if you put in the time and effort you will get the results. Maybe take this class by itself. ...Continue reading

Dr. Chung is not a good professor. He will specific try and trick you on exams and has multiple spell errors in them. I hated his class and would never take another class from him again. ...Continue reading

Has a French accent which is hard to understand. I haven't gone to class since the second week of school since I can't understand her but I still do great on tests because all of the material is put up online. She gives you multiple tries on quizes and tests which is nice. You will use the textbooks though. ...Continue reading

She does have a very thick French accent however, she asks multiple times during class if she is speaking to fast and if she needs to clarify anything. There are online quizzes for each section with three tries, and the exams you get two tries. If you aren't willing to work for the class, don't take it. But if you put in the time, you'll do fine. ...Continue reading

Nicole does have a thick accent since she is French but she is a nice lady and if you go to her she will help you with anything. If you can't pass this class you're going into the wrong field. You'll have to study the text, PPs, and go to open lab to earn your grade. ...Continue reading

I wish I could have Dr Hubler for all my classes. He makes the material relate to real life situations. He is also very attentive to each student. He makes a point to know everyone's name which is important in a family studies major. He has inspired me to continue even when I didn't think it was possible. ...Continue reading

Great teacher and really wants her students to learn and pass her courses. There was current events almost every week but those were fun to debate as well. Extremely recommend it. ...Continue reading

Awesome guy that really cares about his students. If you just show up and try your best on the work there is no reason you shouldn't get an A! ...Continue reading
