Excellent professor! Interesting lectures. 3 tests, 100 questions that took a while, but he gives ALOT of extra credit, and allows you to bring materials to help you through the tests. Very energetic and kind. Makes the class interesting and fun to learn. Only 3 tests, really easy if you study and read the book. No homework, no group work, lots of extra credit opportunities. If you have to take a night class or this is only offered then, definitely consider it you get out early & watch a bunch of cool videos. ...Continue reading

His tests are pretty easy and he's pretty straight forward. The class was way more boring than it sounds on paper and I didn't expect to have to a group project. I hate them with a passion. Although, the group project was stressful and the research was pretty hard. He grades the presentation pretty easy. Gives plenty of extra credit. ...Continue reading

Dr. White is probably one of my favorite professors at UTC. I have taken both of his classes and would not have it any other way. He gives you the questions that are going to be on the exam on the first day of class. You do have to write a lot of two page papers but they do not take longer than 30 mins to do. ...Continue reading

Pretty interesting, some completely disagree. Basic overview of religions in the beginning, then the last half of the semester is all about the Amish & cults. He religiously gives online quizzes, but they're only 1 ? and easy if you read. 2 tests, 1 mid-term, 1 final, usually 5 ? s that makes a hefty paper. ...Continue reading
