I enjoyed the class. Honestly if she just filled them in and you just studied those it would be the same as getting up to go to an 8am class. Not real exciting. Provides multiple extra credit opportunities, and has interesting lectures. Provides all power points online through Tracs, and is available for questions after class. TA does online review sessions before the tests (4) , and is also very helpful. If you study her power points and attend the online reviews, you should do well. ...Continue reading

Most difficult (and not in a good way) professor I've ever had. Judges papers based on the mood of the moment. A lot of classes in school that are difficult I appreciate because I know it's preparing me for greatness, the difficulty of this class did NONE of that. ...Continue reading

Prof. Brockett is passionate about her field, and perhaps once was a good instructor on subjects regarding CJ and juvenile justice specifically. She has gotten to the point that her lectures are unorganized and incoherent to the point that if 5% of the course grade wasn't attendance, students would likely be better off skipping classes. ...Continue reading
