Small class lots of participation. Having an opinion is pretty much the most important thing to have ready for class. If you turn in your stuff, read, talk, and show up, you're good to go. He didn't really grade, it was mostly just participation. Very difficult to not ace this course with him. I would take his class again. ...Continue reading

If I could take Dr Charles again I would. Here lectures are in depth and very informative. The HW and quizzes can be tough, but if you do well on them the test are a piece of cake. She gives plenty of extra credit and drops a couple of grades. Her test are super easy, i took her in a summer sessions and easily got an A. ...Continue reading

Expect to feel like you're back in ninth grade. You will have between one and three worksheets due everyday. Not only does she confuse the class, she confuses herself and has to backtrack so you end up scribbling out your notes cause you wrote down the wrong thing. ...Continue reading

Dr. Mann is a tough grader on tests and the essays he assigns for out of class. He expects that if you take his class, you try. He is always willing to talk about the lecture material if it gets confusing, but he is really clear in class. Make sure you study for the tests!! I've taken 3 classes with him though, I completely recommend him ...Continue reading

Great teacher and prof, really helpful and always tested on content he taught in class. It's an easy class to skip, but you would be a fool for doing so. He tests off of homework problems, and literally solves every single one before each test. He also cares about each student and prepares you for Thermo based GRE questions (The book is cheap too). ...Continue reading

Dr Vacaflores was my favorite economics professor at Tx State. His lectures are long, but clear. He DOES NOT curve, but gives some extra credit questions on the exams. He is very helpful outside of class. This is the first class where I actually feel like I have learned a lot. I took him in the summer and would not recommend missing class! ...Continue reading

Best psychology professor I have taken thus far. He's clear, helpful, and incredibly entertaining. He keeps class fun and energetic, with snarky comments that will make you laugh. The class is so enjoyable that you won't even want to skip it. There is no attendance policy, but he does give extra credit on random days where few people show up. ...Continue reading

One of my favorite professors I have taken so far. This class itself was very easy but he made it interesting and the material made me feel more prepared for my career path. Attendance is mandatory and there is a decent amount of writing but overall it's a great class and a great professor. ...Continue reading
