The lectures are long and don't need to be attended, but she makes them a lot of fun! Doing the required research participation and the online assignments really boost your grade. I got a 79% average on quizzes and with the research and online work it boosted my grade to an A. She is really funny and tries to make the class interesting. Take her! ...Continue reading

This teacher sucks. All she does is repeat what is on thelecture slide and give obvious, unnecessary, and simple examples, or her own biased opinion. To get an A, reading the slides and book is enough, listening to her unintelligent, elementary level crap makes me feel dumber. If you don't care about learning but want an A, take her class. ...Continue reading

Get ready to work. I agree with everyone about how this should be a 5 credit course. I spent the majority of my time studying for biology. That being said, I really enjoyed the subject. Her tests are hard. The first one was insane, but I think they get better. ...Continue reading

Funniest guy ever! Enjoyed every one of his lectures... didn't skip one just because of his hilarious stories. Easy class but hard tests- read up on the text before exams but notes help A LOT. Great guy, really down to eart and funny as hell! He is so fun and I always look forward to his class. You mever know what to expect. ...Continue reading

Paul was one of the best profs I have had since I have been here at WWU. He makes the course as easy and accessible as he can. Exams were online, and so was the final. He really enjoys geology and is so enthusiastic about it as well as teaching it. He doesn't try to make the class difficult. Although I did NOT like my Lab TA she graded harsh. ...Continue reading

Took Psych101 with Mana. He's pretty good, hour and a half lectures are somewhat long. However, if you show up to class, take notes, and then do the reading, you should do fine. He grades fairly, and offers study sessions before each exam. Good teacher. ...Continue reading

Hoffman is a great teacher who cares so much about his students. He wants you to do well if you want to do well. Lectures get a little our of hand and he does tend to get mad at the class if you dont know the info. And I concur with the comment about dumb people in class always talking. I wish all teachers were as caring. ...Continue reading

I was apprehensive about taking this course, as I have not done well in language classes before. This class, however, is insanely fun. Let it be known that this is Ancient Greek and not Modern, however. Some students had been confused prior to attending class. Byron is so nice and helpful and if you have something happening, he's so understanding. ...Continue reading

He obviously was trying too hard and made the class far too difficult for being a 101 class. I would totally recommend him to anyone. He didn't prep for labs at all but then asked questions about them on the tests. Never very clear, he likes to let the class discuss rather then lecture. A very nice guy and smart, but graded too hard. I'm an A student and I really struggled in this class. ...Continue reading

He wouldn't leave me alone, there were plenty of B or C students in need of his assistance, and me (I got an A) didn't want it at all, nor did I need it and he wouldn't leave me alone. only a few homework assingments, and there was no book to read. Just work sheets from class. You do have to go to class to take the pre-tests, and to get the main points of the worksheets. ...Continue reading

Pete is awesome! He's GREAT at giving clear lectures and has a ton of examples that make things easier to understand. Even the dull subjects he could make interesting, and he could answer any question you could throw at him. He's obviously passionate about his job, and he is super patient with students. He's really funny, and I really liked him! Very energetic, does his best to help the class relate to Geology (even though he knows most of his students are there for the GUR), and is very entertaining! ...Continue reading
