Anderson is such a great guy, he really cares about his students and the course material. Course material is easy, amount of work in the class depends on which TA you are given for the discussion section. Overall he is such a wise guy and even if you never talk to him just listen to his lectures cause he is very knowledgable ...Continue reading

He's amazing. I was actually excited to attend his lectures because they're super informative and interesting. He's a huge nerd, so expect his lectures to be littered with all sorts of useless information, but regardless, he's phenomenal. 4 papers, 6 pages long, which, if you attend class, won't be hard ...Continue reading

Whats not great to say about this guy! One of the best professors I have had at Miami. Knows so much about the Cold War and you sense that in his lectures. Extremely friendly and wants to see all his students succeed. There were no exams but like 3 papers! I still see him around campus and he still remembers my name. Take his class! ...Continue reading

First day of class she was talking about the MIDDLE east and wrote it on the board like this: MITTLE. The projects in her class are ridiculous - they don't even make sense - and her tests aren't even relatively connected to what she teaches in class. She is very unclear with what she wants with assignments, tests, etc. You ask her a question and even she doesn't know. The group 12 page paper was only worth 20 points, and you can tell the class only came because she takes attendance. ...Continue reading

Horrible prof. Her teaching style is disorganized and she basically just reads off websites for her powerpoints. Do NOT take this professor. .I can take she has a good heart and trys to challenge everyone but it's just so complex. She expects soo much and gives little back. Do not take her please... I'm warning you.... ...Continue reading

STAY AWAY! Sircar is the most incomprehensible teacher ever. She will degrade if you are wrong or does not agree with you and the assignments make no sense. The grading system is all over the place. I love history and I hated this class. Any class she teaches should be your last option. The only reason the class came is becuase she takes attendance. ...Continue reading

Jensen is one of the best professors I've had at Miami. HE loves reading and wants us to do the same. never been to a lecture with a teacher more passionate about what he was teaching us. he's an amazing teacher he expects you hold up on your end and try to be an amazing student though, so nice Really good at explaining material, lenient grader, not a lot of homework. Do get ready to read. ...Continue reading

Basically the best professor. He's funny, smart, and a great storyteller therefore, the lectures are awesome. Unfortunately, the class is so large that you get a TA, and that's a toss-up on how good they'll be. Exams are about half reading material (there's a lot) and half lecture, so go to class. ...Continue reading

Prof Golder strikes the perfect balance of fairness and fun. His lessons are artfully constructed with great information and gut-busting humor. You will be a better person after taking this class. By the way, he's also pretty easy on the eyes... ...Continue reading
