This woman makes college fun. I can't believe I woke up for this 8am class!!! Jen knows her stuff and makes her lectures fly by. ...Continue reading

Ira is a riot. His lectures are absolutely engaging and entertaining because of his wit. He is a brilliant lecturer and very well versed in his field. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and is more than willing to go over topics during his office hours (this is recommended as his exams are not a breeze). I will miss this class! ...Continue reading

I was initially concerned when reading his previous ratings here, but Seth is awesome! The only reason he has received bad reviews is because people don't show up for class and do the reading. Tests are straighforward, and he is great about responding to emails/questions. He takes very boring subject matter and makes it as interesting as possible! ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 2/5
All he does is recite the assigned reading in class. Also, HE WILL QUIZ YOU AFTER THE FIRST ASSIGNED READING. He says he will give quizzes if people aren't reading, but this is untrue. ALWAYS expect a quiz. Also, don't expect any real help. If you ask a question, he'll treat you like you are STUPID. ...Continue reading

I really enjoy taking Dr. Learned's class. She's down-to-earth and humble. We didn't do very well on the first exam and she took responsibility for that!! How many professors do that? She then restructured her expectations and that has helped quite a bit. ...Continue reading

The tests are hard. Often times students in the class know more about the brain than she does, which to me is ridiculous. She's kind of sassy and changes her mind a lot. Don't take her class if you have the choice. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 3/5
Learned is NOT good at public speaking and talks to college students like we are 5 years old. She will test on things not covered in lecture that are only from the book, so you better read it. Also, if you skip class, you will miss the lecture stuff that ONLY comes from her and this can really mess up your test scores if you do not know something. The subject matter was not my fav, and the lectures can be dry. ...Continue reading

Dr. Jantzen seemed intimidating at first, but she was a really great professor! Great lectures. Must read all the assigned chapters. Tests are challenging, but she is willing to help answer your questions during tests as much as possible. Her lectures are interesting and she is very entertaining. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 2/5
Jantzen is a hilarious teacher but that doesn't make up for her ridiculous testing. I can understand tests are a huge part of psychology but they shouldn't be determinant of your entire grade. She didn't even give credit for participating in required research experiments. The tests were incredibly difficult and she was never available to talk. ...Continue reading

Very passionate about the subject and his area of expertise. Tries very hard to make it interesting for those students that weren't very excited for the class when they signed up. WORTH TAKING. ...Continue reading
