Nice, understanding, fair guy when it comes to deadlines & making up work. He says attendance is mandatory and based on a grade, but i have been in his class two semesters now & missed multiple class sessions and my grade hasn't been effected. Although he does do a lot of in class quizzes for ex. credit, so it would benefit you to go regularly. ...Continue reading

Ridiculous. Unwilling to adjust to problems and does not provide any other way of getting class lecture information without attending...which is the longest hour and fifteen minutes of my week. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH ANYONE ELSE. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 1/5
Quite likely the worst professor I've ever had. His class is outrageously easy (attendance not really required, the only in-class assignments are extra credit, reading the book is enough to ace the tests). He is extremely unclear and it's hard to understand him. Avoid this professor if you can. This class should have just been completely online. ...Continue reading

I hope I don't have to ever take him again. I felt like I wasted my time coming to his class. He isn't clear and his tests are very hard. He looks for tiny details. The only good things I have to say is that he is understanding and allows a cheat sheet for exams(caution. I wouldn't recommend him but I have to take him for PR 371 next sem. ...Continue reading

Amy Hitt is one of the best teachers I have ever had at NAU. Don't buy the textbook you won't need it. Her powerpoints from the lectures are all you will need for assignments and tests. All tests were online, and while challenging, were open book, so I never got anything but an A on the tests. She stuck to a very organized chapter a class format, and I have enjoyed the class. ...Continue reading

Amy's lectures are usually a brief reiteration of the textbook chapter, and she posts her slides online incase you miss anything. Attendance is mandatory and lectures can be long, but if you participate and interact with her they go by much faster. Exams are taken online at home and simple to pass if you study your notes. Love her personality and she truly cares about every single one of her many students. Her class is so simple, and straightforwards. There is no need to purchase the Textbook!! All the answers you need will come from her powerpoints and lectures. The final is online. Take her! ...Continue reading

If you're given the opportunity, take this professor!! She is very helpful and is willing to do whatever will better her students. The class is very interesting and she does exercises throughout the semester that help you better understand the material. I would definitely recommend her for a professor. Her exams are straight forward and simple as long as you study. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 5/5
The class is laughably easy: an easy A. She gives occasional in-class groupwork and quizzes and the written assignments and tests are all online. She makes it fairly simple for you to succeed but you do have to go to class. That never seemed to be a problem for me though, I found myself enjoying her class. She's interesting, funny, teaches you things you actually need to know and uses her life stories to make for some great lectures. A+ ...Continue reading

I expected this coarse to have more of a case study on how advertising relates to business. It wasn't. it was barebones 4 moduels. each moduele has 4 chapters due in 1 week. total 4 exams-100 & multiple choice questions 3 assignments. Only highlight was he was able to curve the exam grades slightly but not by much. Class was boring! ...Continue reading

He was pretty easy when I took him for advertising 207. The attendance wasn't really mandatory, and the tests weren't really all that hard. But he is retiring after this semester. ...Continue reading
