Hist 101 Western Civilization is an OTHER course at SELU. 3 elite notetakers have produced some study materials for this OTHER course.
These notes are a full organized document of the whole first day of class. It includes important events, dates, vocabulary, and explanations.
Here are notes from the second day of class in Kieth Finley's History 101. The first page has a full summary of points that are important from the last note page, INCLUDING the continuation of the first humans of civilization, what Mesopotamia was and important dates, and people involved in history in this era, including rulers and people who rose to power.
These notes cover early Egypt civilization and the construction of pyramids. I included a title page with a highlighter color code key and I will continue to do this for now on. I also explained in these notes the differences between Mesopotamia religion and Egyptian religion. I include some dates but remember these dates do very because of how little evidence we have found archaeologically.
These notes cover important information about Hebrews, Assyria, rulers and gods, and dates and explanations. A lot of this will be on our first exam.
Going to cover all the terms needed to know for the test.
This will cover our second test in professor finleys class.
