    took him for math 70 and I honestly learned more from him than I did in my high school. He didn't lecture much but I know that's part of the curriculum. He made me feel like I can do well if I wanted to work and he's easy to talk to. Never made me feel dumb. Offers extra credit, lets you make up homework and has test corrections.     She actually makes learning math fun and entertaining. She likes to teach the basics before she goes too in depth which is helpful for those who struggle with math. You get used to her teaching style. Most people taking math 70 already know most of the material from high school. Therefore, the class is mostly review. She goes very slow and it was easy to skip.     He doesn't very much at all, more so just hands out group activities and leaves us alone for 20 minutes. He would get upset if we didn't understand the work, even though he barely taught us.     Gina's alright, the class is a remedial course so it's not that hard. Don't buy the textbook, just buy the code from Wileyplus since your homework is weekly on the website. She doesn't give super good notes but she'll help you through the work if you ask for help. You only have to participate 7 times to get the participation credit for her class. ...Continue reading

    Eh, He's not the worst. He does give everyone an opportunity to get at least a B on every single test with test corrections @ his office hours. He is hard to understand b/c of his accent and will feel frustrated if he has to explain a math problem.     easy class. i suck at math but this is one EASY class. gives you more than enough time to do the hw. tests are easy. lectures are kinda pointless and can be confusing. he tries, you can tell. but it just doesnt work. Not much personality, just very technical. Some days he'll be on a roll, others he'll be slow going. But the good stuff is that he gives extensions for the homework if enough people in class ask for one, he gives very easy, one-question, 3 part quizzes and if you feel you get everything, you can leave early if nothing's due. ...Continue reading

    Amazing teacher because he does not give up until you understand the material. Unlike other Math 70 professors I took earlier in the semester, he actually explained everything.     She was a good teacher, but the class was harder then it appeared to be. She was very understanding about the other students. If you attend all of the classes then there is no way she will fail you. She is an exellent teacher , and know's her material.     This class was not made to be easy, but Stefanie was very very fair, and based the scores on grades. There is a quiz every week but they are straightforward & she usually gives hints about it. 2 tests and then the final which is cummalative. notes are allowed on all of these, except the quizzes. she allows 2 weeks for the hw to be done. she offers office hours & is flexible if you cant make it. recomend h ...Continue reading

    I am in my second year at SF State, and Yosinao's Math 70 was sixth Algebra class I have taken since I was in 10th grade. I'm not stupid among my As and Bs in all my other classes, I would always get Ds and Fs in Algebra. Yosinao FINALLY made me understand Algebra--and was so easy I got an A.     easy class. i suck at math but this is one EASY class. gives you more than enough time to do the hw. tests are easy. lectures are kinda pointless and can be confusing. he tries, you can tell. but it just doesnt work. Not much personality, just very technical. Some days he'll be on a roll, others he'll be slow going. But the good stuff is that he gives extensions for the homework if enough people in class ask for one, he gives very easy, one-question, 3 part quizzes and if you feel you get everything, you can leave early if nothing's due. ...Continue reading

    She was a good teacher, but the class was harder then it appeared to be. She was very understanding about the other students. If you attend all of the classes then there is no way she will fail you. She is an exellent teacher , and know's her material.
