ImaShe is a really great teacher. Her powerpoints are really helpful for studying. Great using ilearn and if you attend class and read your textbook you can do well. MAKE SURE TO READ ALL YOUR TEXBOOK-don't skip those sections in a colored box. EVERYTHING will be in the exam. But most of the things are straightforward. GOOD LUCK! ...Continue reading

GiuseppeShe is very clear and organized! It is easy to do well in her class if you just attend every lecture. There are 4 tests, you get to drop the lowest, and 2 papers which everyone got a B or higher on. She has 5 random pop quizzes but there super easy so if you go to class everyday you will get an A. You dont have to read textbook to do well in class. ...Continue reading

OdaProf. Mello is extremely passionate about her area of study, and is awesome to listen to. It was her first year at state and I think she was still getting in the swing of things, but I would take her class over again if I could. She's hilarious and knows how to engage the classroom in a way that teaches, but isn't boring. An A is definitely doable, just study for the tests. Extra credit is also offered. She is very fair and understanding, and I can honestly say, that I never dreaded a moment of this three hour class. I wish that there was more, that this class had a sequel or something. Prof. Mello is the best!!! ...Continue reading

NoahShe verbalizes pertinent information which can be straining if you ARE NOT an auditory learner. The information you will need to know for tests will not be covered in the power points. She is nice, but also confusing, ineffective, and disorganized when it comes to the course structure. ...Continue reading

DionShe is just OK. Her lectures and slides can be confusing, and often times she loses control of the class because other people enjoy hearing themselves talk instead of her, and she tries to get them back on track but she can't. Overall it was an easy class in terms of work and exams, but not always easy to understand her or the material. ...Continue reading

MonteDr. Juang knows adolescent psychology well. She teaches efficiently, using every minute to lecture, talking fast and using slides. Attendance is not mandatory, but go to every class and take notes because the tests are difficult. Any information from class or the textbook is fair game. She moves her eyebrow when she talks. Due to a pregnancy the TA taught 1/2 the class. i prefered the TA. But juang is kind & helpful if you need it. She's very passionate and cares about you A LOT. Ask for help if you're confused and she's more than willing to help. ...Continue reading

BuddyShe tends to ramble a lot & gets flustered easily, which makes it difficult to understand the concepts she's teaching. I thought she made lectures interesting and always asked comments from the class (too bad the sudents sucked and never asked questing!) Her class was not hard, just follow lectures and readings and you will be fine. ...Continue reading

EverardoLoved the class! Was really interesting. Dr. Juang is very knowledgable about the subject. She's also very helpful. Notes get posted on black board after each class so no need to get stressed that she's going too fast. Just listen to the lectures but do go over the notes after class. READ the book!!! It really helps. ...Continue reading
