If people are going to say that this class was not easy, there is something seriously wrong. You just do what she tells you, and you do well. Her questions are not obscure. Rudeness (sleeping) is reason for bad grades and negativity. ...Continue reading

I loved Jamie, she is such an outgoing professor and very knowledgeable in her field. If you don't make an A in this class, something is wrong with you. The hardest thing you will do is their project, you have 3 different choices and will deliver in front of judges. Make good friends and you will be fine! ...Continue reading

Took class online. I wish she taught every psychology course at UH. She is easy and too cool. Please take her for IO Psych as well. I took Hybrid on Saturdays and its a breeze. She is very understanding. Her lectures online are great and short! Prof keeps online lectures short and to the point. 3 exams and 3 assign. weighted equally. Written papers are harder, but if you follow the format of previous papers, lots of ex. provides, you will have no problem. The first assignment is due 6 or 7 weeks into the course, and each assign. thereafter is every 3 weeks. Weird. ...Continue reading

If you take him pretty much you can kiss your GPA good bye. He teaches normal classes like his honors classes as well. His tests are extremely brutal. I took him for Principles of Microeconomics and I nearly drowned in that class even though i went to every lecture and read the chapter twice before the tests. ...Continue reading

Dr. Foss was a great professor. He was very clear in his explanations, did not get too deep into statistics, and made the material applicable to real life research. The class wasn't too easy or difficult, I learned a lot AND made an A with some hard work, but it wasn't overwhelming. ...Continue reading

Professor Foss, you can expect either 3 tests or several pop quizzes throughout the semester (depends on which psych stats time you are). I had the testing one, they were hard, and I averaged a failing grade on them. He curves very strangely, so I received a B+, not sure how. His lectures do not match what is on the test very well. ...Continue reading

Initially, I had trouble in her class. If you study you will pass. I will most definitely be taking her again. Highly recommend her if you are an anthropology major! But I really just needed to buckle down and do the readings and ask questions if I didn't understand something. Her tests are challenging but she literally tells you what you need to know or highlight during her lectures. I assume most students may find her intimidating, as I did at first. Loved her class. ...Continue reading

Dr. Breitmeyer did an excellent job of providing examples and had no problem re-explaining things if there was confusion. Tests are conceptual not just pure memorization of terms. I loved coming to class and talking with Dr. Breitmeyer. Unfortunately the only classes he teaches are graduate level, otherwise I would take another course from him! ...Continue reading

She's cool, and willing to help you if you put forth a legitimate effort. READ THE COMMENTS on the essays, if she notices you continue to make the same mistakes she gets pissed since she puts a lot of thought into her grading. You will have to speak in discussion if you want to get anything out of it, plus she'll make you speak at the end anyway ...Continue reading

Absolutely one of the best professors at UH. He is clear in dictating what is expected of you. Attendance is not mandatory, but it is encouraged. Tests are extremely straightforward and papers are graded fairly. TAKE HIM. ...Continue reading

He has good lectures, discussions and insights. However he is a bit narcissistic sometimes, he will take over a discussion if you get him started on his lectureclassideas. I love his class so much is he has a unique grading method, you work from 12 to 1 to 3 to 5 page papers throughout the semester only moving up when you meet his standards. Also, his discussions sessions are never boring-he always has an interesting story to share! ...Continue reading

2301 is the most difficult of all the Spanish levels and Professor Rozo was very helpful. We had A LOT of homework assignments but it was good for practice since the subject matter was difficult, and he was definitely strict but he was also entertaining. Overall, I think he prepared us well for the next Spanish and I made a B so I'm content. ...Continue reading

She's got the best personality ever. She's very helpful and replies to emails promptly. She generally gives extra credit and is always willing to help you out. Don't slack off or she'll get frustrated. Lots of online homework and weekly testsquizzes. You'll need the book also. I took her for 1501, 1502 and 2301, best decision ever. ...Continue reading

Insanely high expectation, I'm fluent in Vietnamese and I have a hard time doing his tests. He expect us to know stuff even though its not on the reading or the passage from the test. Does not willing to correct his mistakes, don't take him if you want to save your grade. ...Continue reading

She is a super nice lady and does not grade hard, but this class was dreadful. . She doesn't give you a review for tests like other professors, so if you take her make a friend that has the same class with different prof. Didn't ever learn in class because I never understood, I just studied a lot at home and with a tutor. Made a good grade though! ...Continue reading

Morrison is a great professor so long as you participate and are doing what you're supposed to. He knows when you haven't read the texts and he can tell a last minute paper. His feedback on your work is very clear and helpful for future reference. He grades on improvement as well. He can be very intimidating but still ask questions. Be involved! ...Continue reading
