Incredible class. The hardest class I have ever taken. GO to all Review Sessions. Cancel a club if you have to. He bumped me up almost 3 points because I went to all. He will make you earn your success, but it is so worth it and I know I will have a great accounting career. He is a sweetheart at heart too. In his fraternity, he was the head pledge hazer. . as a graduate student. Later in life, he lead the both the Highway 80 and Battle of the Junkyard assaults in desert storm. Accounting 301 is the academic equivalent of Omaha Beach. Expect no mercy. ...Continue reading

Carcello is an incredible professor. You cant complain about him only the difficult of 301. Bring a blanket and a pillow to Hodges on the first day and live there for the semester is my best advice. The Tests will blow your mind. The Final will make you want to cry. But if you put the work in you will get the results. NEVER MISS A CLASS OR A REVIEW ...Continue reading

So I found out today that I made it through Accounting 301. Absolutely difficult. Try your pants off. ...Continue reading

When Joe Carcello was in High School, he played on the middle school team so he would dominate. ...Continue reading

Dr. Carcello is an expert in the accounting field and is a very interesting guy. However, to be teaching an entry level course and making it as difficult as it is? Absurd. Juniors in the finance and accounting majors are usually taking 4-5 other classes at the same time, but you literally have to use ALL of your time for 301 to pass. Again, absurd. ...Continue reading

Flat out Rude. Treats students like they are way below him and he is to be worshipped. Makes the classroom feel more like you are on the weakest link and could be kicked off at any moment. Yells at you during quizzes where its impossible to even think. Is not understanding when it comes to having extra curricular's, a job, etc. ...Continue reading

Wachowicz is a very sweet guy and the class isn't that hard. I kind of like reading the book more than listening to him. I don't really get his jokes. He is a very nice guy though, and if you read or pay attention in class you should do well. The only test that is hard is the final. ...Continue reading

There are only two tests and it is ALOT of info to study. It is definitely not an easy A but a very interesting topic. You have to study and keep up in order to learn but this is college so I don't know why people are complaining! I recommend printing his slides, which are all online and then taking further notes in class because he can go fast. ...Continue reading

Ok the lectures are boring as can be most people didnt go. The key to getting an A in here is not forgetting about the class. The material seems easy but when you get down to it is tough. I suggest reading the theorems and thinking about why it works that way and doing a whole bunch of practice problems. The thing that saves you is his easy gradin ...Continue reading
