Very difficult (Beethoven's symphonies) but also the most interesting class I've ever taken in MSM. Class is just seminars with discussion, so always come prepared. Exams are difficult but fair. If the class is offered again, I would say take it if you're interested in some hardcore music theory and in Beethoven. ...Continue reading

One of the greatest professors I've ever had. I initially took her for my beginning French courses, but she inspired a love of French language and culture inside me and I am now a French double major. Her lectures are incredibly inspiring and insightful, and she is always responsive to feedback. Not necessarily easy, but you WILL learn. Funny too ! ...Continue reading

Fun, interesting and challenging class. The professor is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! You will learn a lot about social media from her and the class. The only downside about class is the group project. You will never know who you will team up with. The books she recommends are for case studies reference. Use it well! ...Continue reading

This just wasn't what I expected. She talks talks talks and doesn't come to a conclusion and grades extra hard making a super easy and fun class unnecessarily hard. 10% grade based on attendance, why I checked mandatory. Also, you will be stuck with the same group ALL semester so choose wisely (oh wait you can't, she assigns your partners) I was told it would be a fun engaging class, where we learned the history and ways to use social media. It just wasn't that. It's an audit. It is hard. It is long, tough papers. It is long, tough, group papers. I don't suggest this class. Its too many guest speakers. Save yourself the time. ...Continue reading

GO TO CLASS!!! He hates giving tests but well, has to grade somehow. He makes the topic so interesting so I feel like I didn't even have to really study. Just studied 1-2 hrs prior to test and got an A in the class. But this is because I ATTENDED CLASS and was interested and participated in class. Group project. But I had an amazing group! No book. ...Continue reading

The professor is a great man and very knowledgeable. I took him for Life Insurance and Annuities. Entering this class I didn't think I'd even have any interest in learning about life insurance but he changed that for me. He requires no textbook and take no attendance. Taking notes off of his slides will help you pass. It's a easy A+, I promise. ...Continue reading

The only good thing about this class and that everyone enjoyed was the one week trip to Cuba that is it!!! This class consisted of sitting in lecture from visitors every class period or every other class period. Professor always told us about the final project but never gave us a sample or a break down or what she wanted. ...Continue reading
