Class is pretty intense. I can easily say this class is one of the toughest I've had in all my four years. Rebecca expects A LOT out of you! We have a group project that takes up most of our time and is very stressful! I've worked very hard in this class so far and am fighting for a passing grade. I'd recommend you stay away! ...Continue reading

GOOD LUCK! If you are taking more than just this class, have a job, or a life, you should look for a different professor. We have a huge research project over the College Park District, SPSS work that no one understands, a presentation and report over the College Park District, tests, and a cumulative final. Be prepared to work your butt off! ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 3/5
He knows his stuff, but this is not an easy class by any means. If you are a marketing major, you need to take him for sure. For the rest of us, this class, especially during the summer, is brutal. LOTS of presentations, tests can be vague, and so much group work you'll be sick of it. But it was never boring and I really learned the material. ...Continue reading

WARNING! DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! I promise you worse professor i have had at UT Arlington. he is very confusing from day 1 and his lecture is so off topic. talks about Abe Lincoln hardly anything on SPSS. does not curve. not even .4 of a point! ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 1/5
He is confusing from day one. I'd advise just not reading the reviews. The syallbus changes FREQUENTLY, there is little guidance on the major group project, tests are difficult and based almost entirely on the book (he does curve though) and his lectures can be peppered with rambling stories. He does not answer your questions either. It is an endless circle to get any information from him. . Good luck! His grading is not soo bad. .So dont freak over his tests! ...Continue reading

Chances are you don't have another choice of professor. He does offer test reviews which are totally useless. His lectures consist of ramblings about golf and the occasional when i was younger. . stories. His test is straight from the book. Attend class just so you know what changed on the syllabus that day because it'll change hourly along with his grading requirements ...Continue reading

This man has power control issues. There is no sructural grading system to his madness. You could miss half your class and get a passing grade, but if you attend and do all your work you will fail. His finals was on the text book but he never even touch the book. DO NOT TAKE HIM. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 4/5
Lectures are long and in-depth, but not uninteresting. He said that he wanted to see our thinking rather than just whether we could do exactly as he wanted. I'm not used to professors doing that, but it worked out. He gave us a lot of feedback, but didn't penalize us much - only a few points. The project is ambitious like people say, but he understands that when he grades and just wants to see good work. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 4/5
I thought he should give more direction on the project. ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 2/5
A lack of instruction and overall direction began on the 1st day of class. Apparently he uses that as a tool for manifesting student's true ability. Personally I'm okay with that but I do not recommend this teacher to un-experienced students. The class has a graduate course feel to it. The class is not difficult but by no means is an easy A. ...Continue reading

Mid-term and Final (75 hard questions) tests, 4 homework assignments, in-class participation (iclicker), in-class assignments, survey, SPSS projects, group Presentation with slides, Group paper (25 pages). Yeah, it's a lot of work. Get ready! ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 4/5
This class had a pretty heavy workload. The SPSS cases were confusing. She could do better at explaining those, however the powerpoints/lectures were pretty good. There are two tests, the midterm(easy) and the final (hard). There is also a class project that you work on all semester. You get to choose your own groups, so choose wisely! ...Continue reading

  • Class rating 4/5
Easy class if you put at least some effort into it. Professor is very laid back & very easy to approach with any questions. Exams mainly from the hundreds of slides he lectures from, simple to comprehend. The only exam I would recommend a lil more studying on is the final. One group project that lasts the entire semester, not hard, but tedious. ...Continue reading
