JazmyneHe was a tough professor but worth it. If you are planning on moving on to Genetics, Cell Biology, and other upper-level classes, I STRONGLY recommend taking this class. Be prepared to work very hard, go into his office hours (he will give you MAJOR hints to some of the concepts to know for the tests), and the class is very rewarding His tests are very hard. I scored 78,60,58, and 84 on my four tests. These scores curved to A,A,B+,A. With a 40% curve on tests you just have to understand that you're going to score poorly and that it will be ok. ...Continue reading

MarianeDr. Maruniak is a great professor who is very knowledgeable in his field. His teaching style is similar to others, so he prepares you for classes where the professor is not trying to help you, which Maruniak does. Totally worth the difficulty Not only is there a lot of information, but you have to know it so you can apply it on the test. Even though class is tough, he is always there to help you understand the material. Taking this class helps in the long run for anyone who wants to be in the medical profession. Highly recommended! ...Continue reading

AnahiGO TO OFFICE HOURS. This class was huge and the only way you will get help is consistently going to office hours. Really didn't like him at first, but get to know him, he is awesome! Goes fast in lecture, so re read notes and really digest it as many ways as you can. Think outside the box with what if. .? and take those questions to office hours! His curve is nice. 14 of the class gets A's. He does these crosswords every Friday that are STUPID! He does not pay any attention to anything but your test letter grades at the end of the semester when calculating your final grade no matter what his syllabus says. Could probably bribe him for your grade. ...Continue reading

EmeraldTests are extremely hard. Only a set amount of people I think around 3 out of 248 can receive 100. If you are one of the last to turn in your assignment you get a 15. These weekly puzzles will bring your grade down greatly if you aren't a speedy thinker and writer. ...Continue reading

AsiaThis is my third year at the University and he is by far the worst professor I have ever had. He does not teach in a way that you will understand. The worst If you can pick another professor do so ...Continue reading

KeyonProfessor came up with a ridiculous crossword puzzle and makes students race for their grade. I memorized all of material from lectures and understood each concept covered fairly well, but still got an F on every test. He thinks the class needs to be a competition because life is a competition, but the curves aren't enough. This is an extremely difficult gen ed class. Don't have him as a professor. ...Continue reading

RogerDr. Schulz is a really cool teacher that makes lectures really interesting and you can obviously tell that he is passionate about Biology. Unbelievably easy as well studied 6-7 hr per exam and gt a perfect 100 each time. It is maybe a bit remedial and i didnt learn much but easy A. He cares a bunch abut students and is funny and brilliant i wish i culd have him again He is also really funny and made me laugh throughout the whole semester. Also he is very clear about will and will not be on the tests and the tests are pretty straight forward and fairly easy. ...Continue reading

DedrickHe's probably one of the better calc. teachers out there. He's Russian, but he speaks English very well, and is easy to understand. He sometimes, goes about things the hard way, but if you need any clarity the TA's are there to help. He's very straight forward with his exams, nothing surprising and also somewhat easy. He has has a sense of humor ...Continue reading

AglaeAsmar was a great professor, and made calculus much more manageable for me. The pace is nice, but please make sure to do all of the WebAssigns. If you don't do homework, you will most likely fall behind. He explains concepts in a clear and concise manner, and is really kind to his students. He doesn't make you afraid to ask a question. ...Continue reading

LeliaFrymire is a funny guy with good stories. Lectures can be kind of long and boring, but when you get to the Reformation, he is on his A-game! Assignments are easy, tests are easy if you study. Probably great for upper-level classes. ...Continue reading
