She is an excellent teacher and I really did learn a lot in her class. She is open minded and never makes you feel stupid when you ask questions (no matter how dumb they are!). Easy grader, explains the material in all detail. Funny guy. He doesn't take attendance, but I went to all of the classes because he was going over the assigned readings and was answering the questions. All of the readings were in the midterm questions. Do a study group before the midterm and you're golden. I have learned a lot in his class. ...Continue reading

Weekly readings with class discussions. As an instructor- I guess I couldn't get over his bed head... He's funny and charming- the class is a cake walk. You don't really need to go... I'd never recommend an IR class to non-IR majors and this class is no exceptions. The readings are important and totally relevant... so do them. . but when students haven't read, he has to fill in the blank somehow :) Obviously knowledgeable professor, which is why he can come off as scatterbrained, but he really has an answer to everything. Midterm and final: he gives some paragraphs and you have to identify the author/reading. . so do the reading! ...Continue reading
