In Organic Chemistry, it is essential to have all the types of compounds and their functional groups memorized. I have listed the different types of common compounds, their general structure, and their functional group. Key: R- the “rest” of the molecule. C- Carbon. H- Hydrogen. X- halogen (F, Cl, Br, I). Assignment: Print this table, cut out each cell, and mix them up. Then, match each compound with the corresponding structure and functional group.
