Steps: Analyze → Descriptive Statistics → Frequencies → Statistics → Select items → Continue → ok

(I) Using the TRANSFORMATION feature in SPSS compute Z - score for all the data values and identify “unusual” measurements

Steps: Transform → Compute Variable → Write a name in Target Variable box → write algebraic expression in Numeric Expression box → ok
