His father was happy knowing that he could live a life in the spirit world with Claire and his son once  Claire would send his soul off there, However, Claire told him to wait. The baby needed spiritual energy to survive so she would hide away in  the spirit world until then. So he waited and the two agreed that they would wait for his natrual death. Claire came back to him with a small child in her arms. But it was too late. His father was dead and his  soul... gone. It was destroyed by the Harbingers. They finally found her.  Devasted, Claire went back to  the spirit world and went back to her old lover. She was confronted by Miyabi, 14 now, who felt betrayed  because her mother abandoned her and her father for a human. They allowed her to stay with the General until Natsu was old enough to take care of himself. Afterwards,  she would have to pay for her crimes against the Harbingers. Miyabi couldn't hate her mother so she hated Natsu instead and didn't understand why her father  welcomed mother and him with open arms. By time he was 11, Natsu became one of the Harbingers and it was time for his mother to be imprisoned.  After his father's death, she became mentally unstable so it would have been best to keep her by the  General's side but locked away somewhere else. Natsu and Miyabi, siblings with a rocky relationship, were forced to team up with another and take on the  job gathering souls and leading them to the spirt world. Miyabi found it in her heart to grow tolerance  towards her bro, (he never hated her though)
