I believe that Saint Anselm in "The Ontological Argument" and Paley in "Natural Theology" are  both trying to make the argument that God exists in a way that we can't grasp it. Saint Anselm  claims that if there is something that cannot be conceived then how is it possible for it to exist.  Although he has no physical evidence whatsoever that God exists, he is still trying to make you  believe that there is a God. Now Paley gives examples as to why we should believe that God  does exist. For instance, he says that animals could not possibly make their own limbs and their  own senses. However in a watch's case they are made by man. When we think of a watch we  never think of whether the machine that made the watch was perfect in order to show what  design it was made. Paley states that the only question is that whether we were made with any  design at all. I do agree with the points both Saint Anselm and Paley made in each of their  articles. I think that God does exists and the physical proof is within animals, humans, and  plants. Neither one of those can produce their own "limbs" which then leads to the belief in God.
