You must be able to convert masses, lengths and volumes from metric to American/English units as used in the labs. (Some conversion factors will be given) 3. You must be able to calculate density and use the information to determine if an object will sink or float. 4. Be able to calculate the heat released from a burning French fry and use the information provided to determine the number of Calories per gram. 5. Explain the periodic table is arranged, how the flame tests produced different colors in different atoms and how the degree of solubility is determined by precipitate formation.
