STUDY GUIDE – Mid Term – fall 2016 – Pop Culture Monday October 10 th Following is a guideline for your exam.  This is not meant to be all inconclusive as I may forget to include something and place that in the exam.  However, I do not anticipate that happening but just wanted to give that caveat. The midterm will be short answer and thirty­three questions (33).  Video: Class Dismissed  Definitions to include the birdcage analogy Feminism and Popular Culture, Chapter 4 Cupcakes, Pinterest and LadyPorn, Chapters 1 and 4 Keegan’s articles:  “Reading Aloud,” “Cold Pastoral,” “Winter Break” (there will be an essay  question on one of these three articles) Keegan’s written speech “The Opposite of Loneliness” – there will be some questions on this All of the above will not be on the exam but your exam will be based on material noted on this study guide.
