- Supportive-expressive psychodynamic therapy  ● Talk about problems related to the eating disorder but in a highly non directive  manner  - Behavioral therapy  ● Taught to monitor food intake, introducing avoided foods, coping techniques for  bingeing  - Biological therapies  ● Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors  ○ Reduce binge-eating and purging behaviors

○ Increased blood pressure and heart rate 
- Healthy ways to lose weight  ● Avoid foods with empty calories 
● Minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity daily 
○ Increase activity throughout day  ● Structure environment so that healthy choices are easier to make    Sexual Disorders  - Sexual functioning - what happens in the body during sexual activity  - Gender identity - individual's’ perception of themselves as male or female  - Sexual response cycle  ● Desire phase - want sex 
● Arousal phase - physiological response 
● Plateau phase - high but stable level of excitement before orgasm 
● Orgasm phase - height of feeling 
● Resolution phase - coming down 
- Sexual dysfunctions  ● Trouble engaging in and enjoying sexual relationships 
● To be diagnosed it must 
○ Occur most of the time for at least 6 months 
○ Cause significant distress or impairment 
○ Not due to another nonsexual psychiatiric problem 
■ For example, if you are depressed it is normal for you to maybe  not want to have sex  ○ Not due to medication  - Female Sexual Interest or Arousal Disorder  ● Have desire but not arousal  ○ If they just don’t want to have sex, this is not a disorder  - Erectile disorder  - Female orgasmic behavior  ● Doesn’t happen or very weak  - Early ejaculation  ● Doesn’t just happen before you want it too, but after like a minute  - Lack of ejaculation  - Biological causes of sexual disorders
