These notes are going over more of section 3.3 which deals with piecewise-defined functions, more algebraic manipulation with piecewise-defined functions, and the basis and definition of the derivative of f(x). Also covered is part of section 3.4, which include the rules of taking a derivative. Provided for reference are the two rules of thumb in MAC 2233.
These go over Sections 3.4, 3.5, and most of 3.6. Please be sure to study the rules for the derivatives, as they can get tricky moving forward.
