2.9979× 10 8 ms 89.7 MHz 2. Now we need to convert MHz into s so we can cancel out the units × 10 6 s 1 MHz 3. Which gives us our answer 3.342 m 4. Now we need to look at significant figures. 89.7 has the least amount  of significant figures (3) 3.34 m

Particle nature of light The emission and absorption of light is not continuous Black body radiation- emission of light from hot objects, it must pass a certain threshold of energy (heating metal) Photoelectric effect- emission of electrons from metal surfaces on which lights shines, this is only radiated with light of a certain frequency (metal in a microwave) Emission spectra- emission of light from electronically excited gas atoms  (neon signs)
