Independent variable: Factor that’s manipulated or changed  - Dependent Variable: Factor that’s measured  - Experimental group receives treatment, while the control group receives no treatment  - Correlation Research: scientific study of observing and measuring two  or more variables  to find relationships between them

Positive correlation: two variables move in the same direction.  - Correlation IS NOT causation
