First week of lecture notes to go along with Chapter 1.
Week one of notes goes over the gases in the atmosphere, ozone, and the layers of atmosphere
Week 2 notes go over the layers of the atmosphere, and the beginning of chapter 2 including radiation, conduction, and convection, Stefan Boltzmann law, and Wien's law, solar angle, and earths revolutions
Chapter 3 goes over energy balance, Albedo, the types of scattering, longwave radiation, the greenhouse effect, 2 types of convection, global temperature distributions, and local conditions.
We took a test this week and began Chapter 4. Chapter 4 is about atmospheric pressure and wind
This week we continued Chapter 4 about pressure and wind. We also started chapter five about atmospheric moisture
This week we continued Chapter 5 and started Chapter 6. This includes the diabatic processes, supercooled water, orographic uplift, and stability
This week we finished chapter 6. We learned about different types of clouds
Chapters 4, 5, and 6. These are key concepts that should be well understood for the test
This week we took a test and Friday we started Chapter 7, Precipitation

this week we only went to class on monday and continued chapter 10
Were getting close to the end of the semester!! this week we covered hail, lightning, tornadoes, and flash flooding
Our final week of class
This is our last test. It is not cumulative so try hard and you will succeed!
