These notes cover material from the first three classes. We talked about the scientific method, characteristics of life, and defined terms like cell, anatomy, physiology and homeostasis. Additionally we discussed the laws of energy, chemical bonds, and the structure of an atom.
These notes cover the class lecture on January 28th. This material covers the types of organic biomolecules including carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and amino acids. We went more in depth for carbohydrates and started to talk about lipids. To be continued in future notes...

We continued to learn about the primary organic biomolecules and started talking about cell and tissue types. We also began learning about one of our bodily systems, the respiratory system.
