These notes cover our first chapter of reading, Chapter 1. They also cover information about the essay assignment that will have a final draft due September 23rd.
These are a short overview of the assignments at the time, starting out in Week 1.
This contains a quick overview of the Pillars of the Tulman model along with other pertinent information needed to understand the assignment of Essay 1. Also contains a short discussion of the types of claims.
A short 1 page overview of the time we had available to take notes. Discusses types of claims.
An overview of Week 4 Days 1 And 2. Day 1 is a very short summary of Support that can be used in writing and making claims along with a structural overview of the grading we will use to review each others' Rough Drafts and the grading the professor will use to grade our Final Drafts.
A quarter of a page note-taking time for Day 1, contains an illustration of the needs hierarchy. Day 2 of Week 5 discusses the different types of definitions as well as the general expectations for Essay 2.
Discusses the assignments that are due and upcoming at the beginning of the notes. Next, there is a short note of the type of information that can be used when writing a Claim of Fact. We then get an example of what shouldn't be used in this essay on claim of fact, do not use your opinion.
After that, we get real-scenario examples of claims of fact. That was followed by a quick viewing of a Sample Paper. Finally, we finished up by discussing and defining the different types of Logical Fallacies.
