The final exam will take place on Tuesday from 7-10 pm Central Time. It will be one hundred points. For RHIANNON’s sections, she has requested that we turn it in as either a Word document or PDF- not Pages for ios users! If you are using Google Docs, either go to File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx)/ PDF Document (.pdf) or, on Chrome you can hit Print → Destination → Save As PDF.
In terms of formaing, make sure that each section (IDs, Analysis, and Essay) has a bolded heading, the document is set in 12 pt Times New Roman, and everything is double spaced.
I. Part 1: IDs and Analysis - 50 points
A. IDs: Choose five out of thirty selected from the span from the end of the Roman Empire to the ‘present’ (Chapter 7-14). Arrange in chronological order, then write a short paragraph for each arguing their importance in the larger scheme of the course.

B. Primary Source Analysis: Choose one out of four or five source excerpts and write a brief essay analyzing the excerpt. Make sure to have 2-3 paragraphs and original ideas- not the obvious! You have a lot of resources at your disposal so the standards are high.

II. Part 2: COMPREHENSIVE Essay - 50 points
A. Choose one out of three essay prompts and construct an essay using five examples (at least two pre-midterm) from the course. Think along the lines of the other papers we’ve turned in. This should be well-constructed,

2. IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
a) Introduction: doesn’t have to be too long, should clarify the
chosen prompt and the methods by which you will answer it.
b) Body: 2-3 paragraphs pairing examples and discussing themes
not just the sources themselves.
c) Conclusion: More than two sentences?? Don’t just summarize
your argument, provide last thoughts, or something else useful.
