Whole quarter's worth of notes for Math 125 online with Kenneth Bube. These notes are specifically from the textbook.
This is the lecture notes on math and I have taken a lot of effort to do it. This is really well explained and organized so I think it'll be helpful.
Today is the end of Week 1-only three days because it's syllabus week! I've taken these notes based on my professor's lecture outlines, but I've written it in my own way, hoping it's easier to understand! I've also included a practice problem I worked on from class. Hope these notes can be supplementary towards your own notes and help you understand!
Here's the first week of lecture notes for Math 125. I expanded on some of the concepts the professor went over in class. Hope this helps some of you!
My notes I took on the crucial pieces of Sections 5.2 to Sections 5.3 in the Stewart Calculus Book. Material covers indefinite and definite integrals and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus explanations. Happy studying!
Here's the second week of lecture notes for Math 125. This covers the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, Indefinite Integrals, the Net Change Theorem, Chain Rule Review and u-substitution.
Week 3 Notes covering the beginning of Chapter 6 in Stewart's textbook. Includes: a method for substitution integrals, Volumes and Areas under curves
Study Guide for the first midterm in Math 125. Covers key topics and common antiderivatives/integrals and how to generally solve certain problems (like substitution and area/volume)
This covers areas between curves, volume by slicing and volume by cylindrical shells.
Note that there are less notes this week because of the first midterm. However, these notes cover helpful hints regarding volumes of solids of revolution and work.
Here's the fourth week of lecture notes for Math 125. This covers Work Problems, Average Value of a Function, and Integration by Parts.
Covers material including the average value of a function, integration by parts and integration with trigonometric identities.
This weeks notes covers trigonometric substation, rational functions and strategies for integration, as well as some extra practice problems.
This week's notes cover approximate integrals and improper integrals, with some examples.
This study guide covers key methods and steps for each to solving integrals. Also, how to calculate work, improper integrals, approximations of integrals and average values are included. Highlights key things to know for each concept!
Compiled notes for Week 8 and 9 since week 8 had a midterm and week 9 is very short due to Thanksgiving. These notes cover material for arc length and finding moments/centers of mass.
A compilation of study guides from exams 1 and 2 covering the material over the course of this quarter.
