Study Guide The approach to Spanish I feel that is most beneficial is questions not on straight vocabulary but on understanding why certain words or conjugations are used as it is nearly impossible to guess every word that will be in a question When telling time we use two different verbs 0 ES 0 Son What is the difference between these two verbs For which numbers do we use each one Punctuation in Spanish works differently What is unique about Spanish punctuation Think about the question mark or exclamation point When going over the classroom we used the verb tienes in most of the questions Tienes is one of the conjugated forms from the verb Tener meaning to have The quotesquot at the end tells us the pronoun is you When asking a question it is assumed to be Do you havequot Know the classroom objects in Spanish you can find them on Spanish class number one What verb goes with the seasons and weather Esotono y hace frio Know which weathers go with which season Calor hot Frio is cold The verbs that go with these sentences is ser to be it is fall and hacer is the verb to do Remember when translating Spanish to English you are translating ideas not word for word This is a good example because it says the weather is doing cold hot things When speaking Spanish its important to remember who what where why when and how manyquot It is the basis of something you might have to say as an emergency appears Make sure you can specifically say the days months time Is it in the morning is it at night or is it during the weekend Is it in summer Be able to be specific
