Things you need to know for Test 3!  & = conjunctions (however, but, although…)  v = “or” operators   = conditionals (if…then…)  ~ = negations (it is not the case that, it is false that, not…)   = biconditional (if…and only if…) Truth Tables:  & is true when the conjunction as a whole is true. One false and it is false  v is true when either conjunction is true. Only false when both are false  ~ is the opposite of the sentence that’s being negated (T…F, F…T)   is false only when the antecedent is true and consequent is false, otherwise is true   is true when the antecedent and consequent match.
