Learning Management System LMS Loud Cloud and the GCU website and to also help you develop time management an important skill for college and everyday life This assignment will be in two parts The first part of this assignment you will be exploring and navigating around the Loud Cloud LMS so that you are more confident in locating items in the on1ine class as well as resources that are available to you as a GCU student Also in Part 1 you will navigate the main GCU website so you more familiar as to where locate information if in need in the future In Part 2 you will be tracking and recording your time spent for 3 days to see where and how you manage your time You will then re ect on your findings and plan strategies to help you maximize your time and help you become a better answer we come up with Part Two Time Monitoring and Management for College amp Life Directions There will be two parts to this portion of the assignment Part A and Part B In Part A you begin by keeping an informal time log in which you note all your activities for 3 days from 5 am to 11 pmeven if your wake up and go to bed time alter from this begin and end time please use this time frame and just place what you are doing during the hours allocated In Part B you will brie y analyze the results from your time log to determine the changes you need to make to your time schedule and how data into the areas noted below and add areas where you see necessary Here are the 3 main areas students have mentioned when reviewing their data and reasoning 0 Making poor judgments about using their time wisely procrastination would fall under this area or not prioritizing events or tasks wisely 0 When stressed becoming immobilized or shutting down mentally andor physically 0 Giving less than their best efforts when rushed and overwhelmed or when they feel like quitting 4 Once you have fully analyzed your data you will be ready to begin Part B writing your re ective summary Part B All Rights Reserved GRAN CANYON UNIVERSITY 13 When I start monitoring my on day one for my time management It was an Monday and my schedule consists of me in class learning traveling to different building for my another classes This is also my Wednesday schedule By 8 am I am up and getting ready for the day ahead of me By 910am I leave my hall and start heading towards my class which isn t that far from me My class starts at 950 and I like to get there early to show my professor that I am ready and prepared for class being one of the rst ones there By 1130 I m heading to my second class once again getting there early to get prepared mentally for class while getting someone work doing earlier for other classes on Loud Cloud After this class is nished 140 pm I head back my dorm and relax for a bit and get something to eat around 2 pm By 3pm I m heading to my class early After class I head back to my dorm and relax and do work for the rest of night Around 9 get something to eat and I turn in for the night around midnight DAY 2 On Tuesday I get to sleep in late because I don t have classes so I take advantage of the down time I woke up around 11 am and got dressed by 12pm I mostly relax and do work on my Tuesdays and Thursdays so I did that for the entire day until 8 when I got something to eat for dinner and stayed in my dorm for the rest of the night 2014 Grand Canyon
