Class Diagram BSA/411 2014 This document includes a UML Class Diagram, which acts as an extension of last week’s assignment: User Stories. The enclosed diagram is representative of certain classes within the proposed enterpriselevel software system for Riordan : UML Class Diagram 2 Manufacturing – a University of Phoenix virtual organization. On the left side of the class diagram, we see the “Session Manager” class, which manages system user logins. The “User” and “User Preferences” classes can be found beneath “Session Manager,” both of which are comprised of user data and stored user preferences and are directly related to User Story #1. On the right side of the class diagram, we first find the “Inventory Database” class, which contains attributes and operations related to Riordan’s inventory database system. Beneath that parent class, we notice “Product,” Reports,” and “Receive Order” classes, all of which relate to User Stories two through five. Please keep in mind that because we are still in the early stages of analysis and design, this diagram represents a highlevel view of the proposed Riordan Manufacturing system. More detail will be added as the project progresses. UML Class Diagram 3 Riordan Manufacturing – Class Diagram UML Class Diagram 4 References Sommerville, I. (2011). Software Engineering (9th ed.).
