CheckPoint ProjectWide or ObjectiveOriented Evaluations Provide a brief summary of your selected program from Appendix B and discuss whether you would use a projectwide evaluation plan or an objectiveoriented evaluation plan Explain the reasoning behind your choice and why you preferred one plan over the other Post your response in 200 to 300 words For the Santa Rosa Philharmonic Youth Symphony I believe the goals are to work together as a large uni ed group of students working together and performing to the best of their abilities in order to receive recognition and money to start funding their early music education programs To receive the best recognition for accomplishments I believe it is important to instill a sense of value into the students and staff of the symphony To best evaluate their programs I believe it is better to use a projectwide evaluation plan Since the big picture of working as a symphony and sounding good as a group is what most people are seeing I believe it is important to evaluate things in the bigger scheme Every student in the symphony would be dedicated to the symphony and making it sound its best The symphony is a group of students who are aiming to have big presentations and the evaluation of the big presentations would be a better option than to evaluate a more intricate detail The project wide evaluation would include the success of the presentations performance in school behavioral and community evaluations of the students families and their communities I don39t think a objective oriented plan would best suit this situation because there is basically one need that needs to be met and that is the success of the students and continuation of the music program The specifics are not as important as the big picture is
